
Thick, golden, and irresistibly fluffy pancakes made with buttermilk — the classic weekend breakfast the whole family looks forward to.
Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt together in a large bowl.
In a separate bowl, whisk the buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter together, then pour into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
Let the batter rest for 5 minutes while you heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and lightly butter it.
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter per pancake onto the pan. Cook until bubbles form on top and the edges look set, about 2–3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until golden.
Stack the pancakes and serve warm with butter and maple syrup.
